FAQs

  • Every Celebrant is so different and as such prices vary, just like any other vendor you choose for your day. My pricing is found next to the relevant ceremony on the packages tab of my website. A travel fee may apply on top of that if it is outside a 50km radius of the Albury/Wodonga region, and this is quoted upon each enquiry.

What I will say is that it is so important that you feel comfortable with your celebrant! You want the person that you choose to truly represent your story in an authentic way. I would encourage you to treat booking your Celebrant as you would any other vendor. Invest in your Ceremony; It truly does set the tone for the rest of your day.

  • Get in Touch

Get in touch and I will check to see if I'm available for your big day. If I am free for your date, GREAT! We will then organise a time to catch up over FaceTime. I will talk you through my process and you will be able to get a feel for me and see if I am the right Celebrant for you. Once you have decided you would like to book me as your Celebrant, I will send through my T&Cs and payment details for a 40% (non-refundable) deposit which secures your date.

    Planning

About 3-6 months out from your wedding date we will catch up at the Beehive Society in Albury to sign the Notice of Intended Marriage, which is the first piece of legal paperwork, and start planning for your Ceremony! If for whatever reason we can't do this person, no stress at all! I will talk you through getting the NOIM signed by another authorised person and all of the planning can be done virtually - easy as that!

    Draft

After our planning meeting I will send you each a questionnaire to get to know the ins and outs of your relationship so I can craft your personalised ceremony. Once I have received this back from you I will draft your ceremony and send you a copy. From here we will go back and forth, as little or as much as you like, until you are 100% happy.

    Final catch-up

We will catch-up in the weeks leading up to the wedding. This can be done in person or virtually. During this meeting we will discuss all the final details so that you are both feeling 100% comfortable leading into the day. During this meeting we will also sign the final piece of legal paperwork before the big day, called the declaration of no legal impediment to marry.

    Let's Get You Married!

On the day of your wedding I will arrive early to ensure everything is good to go. We'll do our thing, sign some paperwork and you'll leave married! I will then register your marriage in the relevant state and apply for your official marriage certificate if you would like me to.

  • Yes I certainly do! I have a Bose S1 PA with a wireless Sennheiser mic. I will set all this up and will happily manage your ceremony music for you via Spotify on my iPad, which I connect to my speaker - just say the word!

  • Simple answer is no, you don’t need a rehearsal. I always aim to catch up with my couples the week of the wedding to touch base and go through the logistics of how the ceremony will flow so you know what to expect.

This will usually suffice and help calm any nerves. With that said, if you would prefer to have a formal rehearsal with your bridal party, we can absolutely do that. An extra fee will apply for travel if it is outside of the Albury/Wodonga region. It’s best to organise this with me and your venue as soon as possible if you are wanting to do it on-site.
